തന്റെ പന്ത്രണ്ടാമത്തെ വയസ്സ് മുതൽ താൻ ഇന്ത്യൻ സൂപ്പർ ലീഗ് കാണുന്നതാണ് എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ അൻവർ ഷെയ്ഖ്, അന്ന് മുതൽക്കേ ആരാധകർ എങ്ങനെയാണ് കേരള ബ്ലാസ്റ്റേഴ്സിനെ സപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നത് എന്ന കാര്യത്തിൽ താൻ ആകർഷവാനായിരുന്നു എന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. മാത്രമല്ല കേരള ബ്ലാസ്റ്റേഴ്സ് അടുത്ത സീസണിൽ തന്നെ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള അവരുടെ പ്ലാൻ തനിക്ക് വിശദമാക്കി തന്നു എന്നും അതിൽ താൻ സംതൃപ്തനാണ് എന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. എല്ലാ മത്സരങ്ങളിലും ആദ്യ ഇലവനിൽ ഇടം നേടുക എന്നത് തന്നെയാണ് തന്റെ മുന്നിൽ ഇപ്പോഴുള്ള വെല്ലുവിളി എന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

Arsh Anwar Shaikh shared his connection with Kerala Blasters, saying, “I’ve seen ISL ever since I was 12 years old, since then they (fans) supported the club (KBFC) on a constant basis, irrespective of results. So for me, it was a no-brainer honestly, when the offer came because I’ve always liked Kerala Blasters as a fan.” He also revealed that while he had other offers, the club’s vision convinced him to join, adding, “I had a few other offers as well, but I think for me personally, when the call came & they told me about the plan, I was really interested in it & I really felt that this is the place where I can build my career to a new level.”

The young player is determined to make an impact, stating, “I want to be in the starting 11 every game, that’s my challenge here.” His ambition reflects his commitment to proving himself and growing as a key player for Kerala Blasters.
